We are currently developing a new pathfinder project focused on helping employers create workplaces where neurodivergent people can thrive.

The work is being shaped by members of another way collective, alongside neurodivergent-led organisations, employability partners and employers. It builds on local research and engagement with neurodivergent people and employers across Dumfries and Galloway, which highlighted a clear need for practical support that goes beyond awareness raising and helps organisations make meaningful changes to everyday workplace practice.

Through this pathfinder, we are exploring how employers can be supported to build confidence, strengthen inclusive practice and create more accessible systems for recruitment, management, workplace adjustments and staff wellbeing. The project is rooted in lived experience, shared learning and practical implementation, with the aim of developing a locally relevant approach that can support long-term change across sectors.

This work is still in development, and we are currently working with partners to shape the next stage.
